Call Your Shot: Who's the first player we sign?

I'm seeing a lot of guys clear waivers today to make it to practice squads, but no reports of guys getting signed by other teams.

So, out of boredom, who do you predict will be the first signing?

Could be a guy that was waived, or a street FA. Your call.

I'm going with Kynan Forney, OG, San Diego.

At some point, you have to just start throwing shit at the wall and hope it sticks. Is there really a big enough difference between numbers 30-53 on this roster to justify not taking a look at about anyone out there in a position of need that you have?

No surprise, really. I'd mentioned this possibility elsewhere.

Some worthless sack of crap with just cut, because he's "our guy".

My guess: NT Derek Lokey

Although i imagine we will never know who was signed first because they won't tell us anything until they announce all of them.

He's a big man, who generally does well run blocking. He's not overly nimble, which causes struggles in space, and he's had concussion problems.

For all that, it's actually possible that he'll become the Chiefs starting right tackle. He has started in Kaczur's absence in the past, and Pioli knows that.

That's an excellent move. Even if we are just limiting ourselves to guys from NE and Miami, he's one that can help in an area we need.
