Other Sports 610 or 810 - Page 4

I am just curious.......

I listen to 610 unless they are airing a Royals game then I switch over to 810.

Fescoe went on an angry tangent this morning about how the royals say they need 2 mill fans to get big fa's it was epic. None of the on air talent at 610 last very long. They burn through people there. The only reason Keitzman holds his slot at 810 is he has ownership in the station.

DA now has a better gig. Chris and Cowboy (will soon) have a better gig. Nick Wright is pretty bad though.

I didn't think DA and Chris & Cowboy were bad at all. I don't even like DA's style very much, but he made it work.

We had a local guy on 590 up here for a while named Matt Perralt, (sp?). He was a Boston guy but always spent a fair amount of time on local teams. When NU had that last season under Callighan, he was ruthless. (I loved it)
Fired shortly thereafter. IMO he spent way too much time on Creighton basketball but all-in-all he wasn't bad. That was the last local guy 590 will probably ever hire, (unless they find someone willing to suck the hell outta NU).

On occasion I can pick up 810 while driving around and the afternoon guys do seem to be a little more enamored with their meals than KC sports.

Like him or not, KK also has the ratings. We'll see if that changes going against Nick Wright, but KK has beat all competition thrown his way.

I would rather listen to an Obama speech than listen to Wright. He comes up with some insignificant point a blows it up like it's going change sports forever and rants on this shit when the audience wants to talk about substantial sports.

The Chiefs have a game Sunday but we will talk about that in the last hour. Right now we need to talk about why these basketball players feel the need to have sex with women. Call in with your thoughts.

I listen to Petro and St. John on 810, but listen to Nick Wright on 610. Can't stand Wright, but he at least talks about the Chiefs a lot. I refuse to listen to KK!!! I don't mind Fescoe on 610, but that is the same time as St. John.

I stream 810 to keep in touch with what's happening in KC sports. Tried to listen to some of the new guys at 610 and I'm not a big fan. I did used to like DA, but other than that, haven't ever been a fan.

It does annoy me when KK does the racin' boys and the bbq segments. That's when I change to ESPN or the local sports radio station.
