If Manning has cervical fusion I would exspect it to be the end of his NFL days. The dude must have one hell of an agent to get his contract renewed then end his career. I find it hard to imagine he had no knowledge of upcoming surgery.

Manning has not played yet under his new contract ... not sure he's even gotten that money yet. Surely he would have to pass a physical before getting the new money.

Yep, a week ago, which is what makes this rumor very bizarre. It's not like he's done anything to re-aggravate it... if they knew a 2nd procedure was coming they wouldn't have pulled him off the PUP.
