How much would you give for Barkley or Griffin?

I know there has been a lot of talk about those two Qb prospects but I thought it might be a good idea to make a poll to know just how much Chiefs fans really want to draft a top QB prospect in 2012.

I am one of those who believe this team is more or less an above-average QB away from being possibly a contender every year.

Let's say the Chiefs have around the 10th pick in the upcoming draft and need to trade up 5 spots to pick before both the Redskins and the Dolphins who will likely draft the best QB available at their spot.

How much would you be willing to offer to make sure you have the chance to draft either Griffin III or Barkley?

BTW, I am not talking about Luck here because I personnally don't think there is any chance the Colts will trade the pick.

Well Barkley is retired, I really like Griffins post up game and I think he is going to develop into quite the perimeter player later in his career, still on the Clippers, though. I'm not sure if Charles would come back into sports let alone the NFL, what could he play? Griffin would be a great Tight end but I'm not sure what you mean. Why would we have to give draft picks for these players?

Would you take Welker over Bowe? **** no.

But Welker is 1st in rec, 1st in yards, T-5th in TD's... Why? Because he has a NFL QB throwing to him.
Your argument is full of fail. Wes Welker is a fukn midget. NE throws the ball 40-50 times a game. Chiefs run the bull up Wiegmans ass 20-30 times a game. Impact WR's don't grow on trees. I would trade JC in a heartbeat before D-Bowe. RB's are a dime a dozen. Top ten wr's aren't.

JC just tore his ACL. Good luck getting much value for him right now.

Chiefs run the ball because their passing attack sucks complete ass.

Well I'd trade Bowe if I had too but would prefer not too. At this point whatever it takes to get your qb should be done probably.

DUDE. It's not one or the other. If you go throw a rook out there with scrubs he will FAIL.

Say Stafford went down and the Lions were wanting to trade up and get Luck. Would you trade Megatron to get him?

Why would Detroit want to trade up for a QB when they have Stafford?

While I tend to agree with jd on this, I'd like to ask what elite qb in the league right now is throwing to "scrubs"?

I said say Stafford went down. Say a neck injury or something he likely couldn't come back from.

Baldwin has done nothing to show that he is a number one. Breaston is a slot guy.

These guys aren't bad but it's absurd to trade away the best target your new QB has to throw to.

God your arguments are terrible.

Were any of them in a position to need to trade to get a QB?

Indy? Nope. They had the #1 pick.

NE? Nope. They had Bledsoe.

GB? Nope. They had Favre.

NO? Nope. They signed Brees through FA.

EDIT: Had to look back at the teams you were talking about just to make sure...

ATL? Nope. They had the #3 pick.
