How did you meet your significant other?

I have a vague feeling that I did this poll in the past, but can't find it. And who cares if I did?

The rules:

Answer this question for your current spouse or significant other if you have one. If you don't have a current one, answer it for your most recent past one. If you've never had one, there are poll options for you and you can use this poll to reconnoiter your options.

We talked for a while at Perkins and I asked her to go night-fishing with me when we left, which she agreed. We dated for about a month until some dude told her about these 2-3 other girls I was dating whom I broke things off with after her and I decided to date each other exclusively. She thought (and still thinks) I was cheating on her, which I think is very, very debatable. She broke up with me, but we remained friends, but lost touch off and on as the years went by. 7 years later, we made plans to hang out again and haven't been away from each other since. We have been engaged for a few years now, but our marriage plans keep having to be replanned because we keep having babies because we hump like rabbits.
Sounds like her father is pointing the shotgun in the wrong direction.

Why? We are 29....and I wasn't cheating on her back then...just happened to be talking to (kinda dating) a couple other girls on the day I met her...which I stopped when we started dating exclusively.

I was referring to the end of your story. In the common mythology, pregnancy forces a marriage rather than prevents it, via the father's shotgun.
