Your turn to play John Dorsey

With the 2013 draft in the books, how would you have picked if you were in the Chiefs position. You have to take the Alex Smith deal, and no Branden Albert deal, who would you have picked in each of the Chiefs drafts spots?

Absolutely false. The Chiefs fielded offers for 1.1

im on board with his offseason thus far...its too early to argue he's wrong until its proven on the field. especially with the draft, no one has played a down in the NFL yet, we'll see if hes right in a few years

either way, the guy has a PROVEN record of success especially when it comes to the draft from GB. hes a great scout, guess we'll see...

Tried to change up everything. Only one I couldn't was Johnson because, well...
I was baffled by Fisher without moving Albert as well. I figured that as a sign of a done deal and would have loved Jordan at 1.

No need to trade down further when you like the talent available. Unrealistic, too.

Just as realistic as drafting for a trade that didn't happen. Players that were in slots that didn't exist will be ignored.

I don't care about your evaluation. My scenario is 100 percent realistic. The Cardinals would have jumped all over that.

Green Bay has done a good job of finding playmakers at WR, and in the LB corps, along with taking Aaron Rodgers when he fell into their laps..

They've done a solid job of finding secondary help, also, though unspectacular.

But the trench guys they've drafted haven't been much better than average.

Add in the fact that Reid has done a medicre job of drafting those guys while in charge in Philly, and I'm a little concerned about that area as this team moves forward.

I don't know that I agree. We still need depth on our o-line and need some stopgaps, especially since we don't know what we have in Hudson or if he's going to be 100%. I doubt the Chiefs make any more big splashes, but I could definitely see them trying to bring in a few cheap veteran stopgaps you can sign to 1-2 year contracts.

We have Donald Stephenson, who can step in at either tackle position, Jeff Allen who can step in at tackle and guard, and Jon Asomoah, who can play either guard spot.

The only real remaining area of concern as far as depth on this line is at center.

With Fisher, Albert, Shwartz, along with the aforementioned group above, this line is in pretty good shape.

I'm thinking moreso about a scenario where Albert gets traded, which I would rather do than pay $10M just so our 1.1 can play RT. If you trade Albert, a guy like Clabo, Winston Justice, or Sean Locklear are decent stopgaps. At Center, I'd like to see the Chiefs go after Dan Koppen.

People are concerned about money, but not about the 1.1.

Stupid people, everywhere.

Since we decided to draft an OT #1 overall, I'd rather try to sign Albert long term and get him to understand the benefit of moving to LG, and sign Clabo to fill in at RT.

I'd be okay with Koppen, who would be a good backup and mentor to Hudson.

But a line with Fisher, Albert, Hudson, Shwatz and Clabo, left to right, could be the most dominating OL in the league.
