The problem with that theory is that DJ is often in coverage. One of Ford's known weaknesses is run defense and pass coverage. He is a 1-2 tool pass rusher right now.

I get that. But he is also a 1st round draft pick. The job discription is LB'er. It can't be that difficult if you are a good enough athlete to be picked in the first round.

No offense, but those are some pretty key injuries. You can't seriously expect the defense to play at the same level with their all pro "QB" off the field. The loss of DJ is bigger than the loss of Hali/Houston last season.
