So, Kentucky, a blue blood basketball program that doesn't really care about football and hasn't been relevant to the sport since Rich Brooks, had two players drafted before kU had one.

Also, number of Mizzou players taken in the first round since the last kU player taken in that round: six.

Total number of first round jayhawks? 8. Tigers? 15.

The career AV data (by school) was already posted in the last version of this, and it showed KU & MU have similar impact in NFL history somewhere around 2,000 AV. Looks like Kentucky is right there.

School - # players - Average Value

Kentucky 161 - 12.5
Kansas U 152 - 12.1
Mizzouche 181 - 11.9

So MU produced a few more players of lesser quality. Just depends on what you're looking at. (I looked up OU, Bama, Texas all at 4,000 AV. I wondered about USC: 7,400)
