And yes, while I'd like to see more posts about the Chiefs, after a VERY disappointing 1-5 start, well, I guess I don't much blame CPers for temporarily putting the Chiefs on Ignore. Those boys need to EARN our luv.
This part wouldn't really matter.

KC could be 5-1, but regardless, CP posts would primarily consist of endless posts about 1. how they are not doing something right.. and 2. Alice Smiff still sucks.. this team is carrying him.. and the team will never go anywhere with him, must draft a rd 1 QB pronto or else.. blah blah blah.

That goes without saying. Part of the reason CP has been so fun is the back and forth between true fan and Alice haters. It's about the only real entertainment the Chiefs have to offer right now.

I love the indignation and the exaggerated self-importance of the OP.

The Chiefs put us all on miserable users this year. The games are that difficult to watch.

Sure there would be the usual bleeding hatchet wounds, but at 5-1 the vast majority of us would still be all in on the Chiefs.

Oh, Dave. I disagree. The Alex debates are among some of the most boring and repetitive debates I've ever seen on CP. Each side is entrenched in their beliefs, and not one side is convincing the other of anything. The only thing that changes people's minds is Alex's play on the field. Those debates in every freaking thread make this place unbearable at times.

I'd rather read two front pages worth of Deberg threads than read another Alex Smith debate.

We can all see a 6-0 Denver squad are complete frauds, we could definitely spot it in these clowns.

Well when the most important position on the field is so sorely lacking, it's going to get brought up a lot. It doesn't help that Sandy Cheeks is right there to jump on his nutsack every time his name is mentioned.

Yeah...I get it. It's just beaten to death. And I fully understand that Sandy Cheeks is just as guilty (if not more) than guys like Clay.

Sandy is allowed to troll the entire board with his Alex Smith love while other's get banned for talking badly about Smith. Makes perfect sense.

And it doesn't help that the people knee deep in the Alex fights are some of the seemingly slower minds of CP. It makes for awful reading.
