Injury list has him out for today's practice (foot)...It has to be more serious than they were leading on. Missing time in such a critical week cant be a positive.

He'll play...I have no doubt about that but how much will it affect him?

I think some players enjoy the attention/drama.. whatever of having an injury and Ben Roethlisberger appears to be Exhibit A of that.

He's a damn good QB, but I am sure the constant injury drama with him annoys Steelers fans.

He wasn't "limited"...he was out. That sounds more serious than they led on...

If Smith was out today with a bad ankle...I would be concerned.

Ladarius Green is still out with a concussion....they really dont have a TE receiving threat if he doesn't play.

It has a lot to do with Roethlisberger being the Paul Pierce of NFL football players.

If the guy walks into the training room and is being Paul Pierce (i.e. a make-believe soft bitch who milks every injury for additional television time and attention), the trainers can't really do a hell of a lot about it.

Paul Pierce is nothing more than a tall soccer player. He should've been one of those floppin' euro-pussies playing for Juventus or something. He could roll around clutching his ankles to his little heart's content.

Oh man, think of how much he'd love the idea of them bringing that little stretcher on the field for him. I mean, he can't get a wheelchair or anything because the wheels would cause ruts but holy Christ, he'd never actually touch the ball if he knew he could have people carry his fallen corpse off the field on a litter. Then he'd return a risen Lazarus and heroic warrior....only to be felled by the cruelty of fate...and an especially sharp blade of grass.

The injury *MIGHT* have something to it, but the most logical reason for sitting prac is rest. Shit, Tom Brady has been "questionable" to play every week for his entire career.
