To the Star BB Admin:

I wanted to personally thank you for your recent actions in deleting these non-relative topics from this perfect example of what a properly run bulletin board should be.

Unlike most, I understand the business aspects of your decision. The idea of giving your clients free choice on what topics they discuss has made this one of the most attractive football BBs in the country, but think how successful it CAN be when you start controlling the topics!

If the masses (your clients) knew what was best for them, they would realize that the interaction between this large community of friends is not what attracts others, nor what keeps this BB (unlike most others) relatively civil. I applaud your decision to step in and force your clients to do what is in their own best interests. Everybody knows that a successful business does not cater to it’s clients, but rather it forces it’s customers to do what the company tells them to.

If only your clientele were smart enough to study history! Then they would know that a free market environment always leads to chaos and repression, whereas the true path to success and prosperity lies with central planning.

So again I applaud you for treating your loyal customers like the dim-witted sheep that they are. I do have one suggestion however, if by some miracle you discover that you’ve made a strategic error with this decision, never admit it. That would be a sign of weakness and no self respecting bureaucracy would ever reverse a decision once made ~ whether the decision was good, or bad.

Luz
Good bye everyone…

Luz, loved your post. I didn't see the meltdown on the KCBB when it all happened. It sounds like the BBA's got spooked really bad... I just don't understand why...

Love this new board...

Pam - I understand, I was hoping it might give you a little giggle. I knew you could use some sort of a distraction.

All I know is that women got me banned from paradise and took one of my darn ribs. Now they don't want to do the laundry or dishes.

Hell they don't even want to cook a decent meal. Adam is rolling in his grave.

Thanks Morph.

Kids have been in my room all day crying (again) and calling my home, and dropping by. The whole community is once again shocked.

Yea, I need a distraction.

Logical - Not sure where your going with that one. Tone of voice and facial expressions go a long way to showing that you are being sarcastic.

I understand that, I was being sarcastic in that words must be part of sarcasm. I think what was meant was written words. I guess I kind of emphasized your point, as my written words did not come off as sarcastic.

Did not mean to offend,
Sorry.

Logical - Not upset in the slightest, just confused and trying to figure out what you meant. I don't take things that personal, and I figured maybe I had typed something really stupid earlier.
