They'd be wise to at least float him out there.

I damn sure wouldn't mind if he qualified as a type A and we got two first rounders for him. He's having a career year.

Yeah, it wouldn't be a disaster to lose Lohse. He's a rental at this point now. He's going to want $15-20 million a year and no way the Cards are paying that.

Man I wish we had some relievers to trade.

I really don't understand why anybody would take Lohse after one good season with us. Duncan's reclamation projects tend to go straight to hell without Duncan. Pay big money to Lohse and watch him turn into Jeff Weaver. Yay team.

I realize Lohse wants a big fat payday, but if I was the GM of a big money team I would be very reluctant to pull that trigger.
