What a stud.

Cain has enough power to hit 15-20 HR. I think the real key for him is that he has proven he can handle pitches on the outside part of the plate and is willing to go with those pitches and beat pitchers up to RF.

This had let to teams trying to come inside on him, which gives him more pitches to pull and more opportunities to drive the ball/pull the ball.

If you pair Cain's defense with a .280/15 HR/30 SB type of season, you're probably talking about the best all-around CF in the American League who's name doesn't rhyme with "pout."

I mean, that's McCutchen-lite.

(Yes, I've always had a huge man crush on LoCain. I think this may be the year it all comes together...)
I have always felt the same, he has that long swing and he can shorten it up when needed too, he has the potential to be all you speak of or more.

Side note: Props to Hootie 2.0 for calling the swagger factor for the offense.

He's been 100 percent right so far. Hope that holds up over the whole season.

Both HR tonight were huge. Especially loved Hosmer taking one of the best lefthanders in the game DEEP with authority.

Cracks me up to see how much fun Salvy has playing the game. He's always the one w/ the water bath after a win. Cool to see someone love the game like a little kid.

I was thinking about Hootie too - he's called it right thus far - amazing in its own right

The approach at the plate from Hosmer, Cain and Moose is so much better this year. I believe that playoff swagger is carrying over. Starting pitching is really the only concern with this team right now. Hopefully Eiland can. Work some magic.

Welp this doesn't need to be said but if we're hitting for power like this, this team is a force that is terrible to behold
