Didn't see one, so figured with the season starting tonight, we better get one going.

Anyone have any bold predictions? I think mine might be that the Wild make the Western Conference Finals.

Considering he got ejected less than 2 minutes into the game, I think 2 additional games makes sense.

Of course, as much sense as you can make out of hockey discipline.

I cannot believe they called that penalty. They let that shit go late in games all the time. I’ve seen murders on the ice ignored.

Sucks not having cable. Would have loved to see this one. Good to see the Panthers move on to the finals after last year’s debacle.

I've found it's best not to take NHL officiating seriously in any way.

But yeah, usually that doesn't get called.

Honestly though, I'd rather they call actual penalties like that one. Canes were going to lose anyway in OT. They just didn't have it tonight. Too many turnovers and just general sloppy play.

Yeah, NHL officiating is pretty mysterious at times. At full speed I thought it was interference. In slo-mo, I guess I can see not calling it. Maaaybe.
