Peyton Manning to visit Denver TONIGHT to meet with Donks
Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.

This is getting serious, folks.

Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

The Broncos' top brass of John Elway, coach John Fox and general manager Brian Xanders, are currently in Stillwater, Okla., watching the Oklahoma State Pro Day workout that features quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft and has been projected to go between the Broncos' top two picks.

Manning will turn 36 in two weeks.

Flynn is gonna go to Cleveland or Miami. The other will draft Tannehill. Seattle will probably be his only option as a starter besides KC

I'd say that Hunt coming out and saying they are after Manning is verifiable action.

I mean the dude is still in Denver. It was his first stop. I'm not sure enough time has passed to say the Chiefs have had no verifiable action in this yet.

I think the organization has finally soured on Cassel. Too much smoke not to be some fire. From interviewing the top QBs at the combine to bascially committing tampering with Manning to saying how they'd love to have Orton back to all the competition talk. They've never made comments like that before. Cassel is on borrowed time as the starter in KC. We may not get Manning but I bet some other QB starts week 1 or replaces Cassel by week 4 or 5.
