Maybe this final ban was a little over the top, I dunno. I don't have enough information to base a solid opinion one way or the other. However, he has pushed the envelope more than anyone here. Is it entertaining? Yeah. Kind of like rubber-neckers driving by a 10 car pile up.

By the way, him saying he never attacks without provocation is a bit of bullshit. Check his "Rep is ****ing Stupid" thread where he called out half the board.

IMHO some posters are basing their opinions about this situation with limited information. They knee-jerk just for the sake of doing so.

Why is hootie different than all the people who follow him around from thread to thread harassing him? Or the people who follow Frankie around ridiculing his midair comments. Or the way people used to do the same kinds of things to gochiefs? This place continues to get more and more like every other message board on the internet and that's not a good thing.

I saw a change in Hootie when he came back this time. You of all people should know that some people react when people call them out or throw history in their face. Billay instigated and kept at it. I know you don't like Hootie, but aside from his complaints of Phobia, I thought he was doing MUCH better.

Personally, I've learned to ignore the people who follow me around and throw shit in my face. Once in awhile, I say "**** it" and argue a little. Then people think I'm whining so I go back to ignoring it.

I love you frazod, but why is it cool when you go on a tantrum, but not cool when Hootie did it with Billay?

The "rebuttals" and any one standing up for Hootie seem to forget, he was brought back frmom a ban, with specific warnings. he was told that some would bait him and that he must not take said bait. Yet he did. It appears that hootie almost intentionally attempted to get banned. It's called disrespect.

I'm not the one who banned him, my dear.

Would I have banned him for battling Billay? No. Of course, I'd have never allowed him back from his last ban, so there is that.

You're right - I don't like Hootie. I don't care why he's gone - just that he is gone. It works for me. If he ever comes back, I'll deal with it, just as I deal with the other annoying pricks that post here. Generally, the only thing I call Hootie out for is his HEY LOOK AT ME!!!!! threads/posts, which are endlessly annoying. Contrary to what lowlife **** Saul says, I don't follow him from thread to thread calling him a rapist - if fact, I can't remember the last night I brought it up that wasn't initiated by Saul himself. I generally get along with Billay, but I am not his keeper. In fact, I've advised him to tone down his rhetoric.

So if you have an issue with Billay, take it up with him.
