Seriously, I was by no means ecstatic when they announced the hiring of Herm Edwards. However, you can't deny his record. He got those Jets teams to the playoffs and even won some of those. That is something the Chiefs haven't had much of in the past 10-15 years. That's why I think it's wayyyyyy too early to be calling him a failure. Let's see how the rest of the preseason and then the regular season turns out before we make judgements.

let me re-word it. im hoping that clemens does better than chad in training camp/practice. i think that my team needs a fresh start, and i just dont think that chad pennington is the face for the franchise. unless if chad suddenly becomes some amazing quarterback with a good arm..im done with him. im sick of the dink n dunk offense..chad pennington style. im not on the penny boy bandwagon. sure, if he does well..good for him, good for my team. but if he does not...then bring in clemens please!!

Well in fairness if I was in her position.......I'd want Pennington to suck to get him off my team too. It's not like they're going to win this year so it is a realistic view of thinking toward the future and getting a player who you don't think is good off the team.

Careful what you wish for. Penny may end up on the Chiefs some day if Hermie is still around.

As for the Jets, believe me, Bradway deserves blame as well. Again, I'm not one of these "its all Herms fault" people. But I repeat: he is a horrible game coach, he runs a loose ship, he doesn't develop young players, and he likes throwing people under the bus. You will see.
