Put your picture on a rating site, even something like hot or not. You are going to get rated way higher than you really are. But as a frame of reference, it is correct as if you would put a picture of someone better looking than you, they would most likely get a higher rating. OK, in all seriousness, I have no clue how "good looking" you are, but you might consider getting someone who actually knows what they're doing to take a head shot.

The problem with the one in the thread header is that it's not flattering at all. The first thing I noticed, it's too bright... that flash really constricts your pupils and makes them look beady. One of the physiological things that humans see as attractive is large pupils... large pupils denote excitement, and we like that.

Seriously, if you want to do this do it right. Spend the dough to get real headshots... or, if you want to spend less money, find someone that at least knows how to take a good picture and set up some lighting.
