Frankly, I don't mind if some drunken/drugged person earns a Darwin award by killing themselves in an accident. My problem with it is the innocents the idiots usually end up taking with them.

to those saying I'm lucky I didn't kill anyone: there was a very slim chance of me hurting anything. I had been drinking pretty slow because I was kinda sick from the day before.

but I feel like the asian guy that worked in the gas station in Fight Club.

and those who wanted me to call a cab: in the words of sam kennison (or something like this) in the old days, you go out, have a couple drinks, and drive home. nowadays everyone has to make you feel like a total ASSHOLE! why do we drink and drive? because it's the only way to GET YOUR CAR HOME!

What I learned:
1. I'm a lucky sonofabitch, at least last night.
2. Hope you don't realize your headlight is out on the way home from the game, because you're pretty fucked (99% of the time)

Based on the info provided, you'd been drinking for the better part of 10 hours.

You were drunk and you were a dumbass.

You should have been arrested, and lacking that, someone needs to kick your stupid ass, putting you into the hospital, where I would hope they **** up you're treatment.

okay, let me rephrase...

there may have been a better chance of me having an accident than under normal circumstances, but most definitely not to the point of me needing to call a cab.

I didn't even feel slightly nervous about driving home, until I saw my headlight was out. It certainly wasn't a "c'mon, you can do this...just be cool" kinda night.
