Moss hurts left knee in one-on-one drills

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos first-round draft pick Jarvis Moss injured his left knee during 1-on-1 pass-rush drills Monday and was taken off the field for medical tests.

There was no immediate word on the extent of his injury.

Moss, who signed a five-year, $18 million deal on July 28, was injured when he did a spin move past an offensive lineman, then began hopping on one leg before crumpling to the grass. He stayed down for five minutes before getting up and walking gingerly to the sideline. He got into a cart and was taken to the locker room.

The defensive end from Florida was the 17th overall selection in the NFL draft. He was expected to provide the Broncos' pass rush with some much-needed help.

I wondered the same thing when he said just a week or two ago that if Larry Johnson was traded he would leave the Chiefs behind and become a fan of that team instead. How would the WPI brass (such as they are) feel about that?

Honestly, I now wonder how many reporters/writers from other sites are just your spare to fair dude that got lucky... scary actually.

I don't know anything personally about this GoChiefs character, but from his BB persona he is just immature. Hopefully it is all an act, it is the internet after all. But I can't see how he thinks people are going to take his reporting seriously especially with the reputation he has around here. I know in my eyes he has zero credibility.

I started to believe he was growing up since getting that WPI gig but I guess I was wrong.

I do enjoy his training camp updates I just wish he didn't link us to WPI.

They're likely just like the rest of us and couldn't really give a damn... there's something they like about having him on their staff. And, well... he likes to be on a good staff. "ba dum bum - teesh"

He's just as credible as any of the rest of us, if we were there AT camp. His two eyes are just as good as anybody else's.

It's the fact that he's started acting like he's MORE credible than the rest of us - rubbing people's noses in it, in fact - and then shamelessly trying to redirect traffic to his employer's website.

I'm sure, soon enough, something will happen with WPI and/or Nick and his ego will come back down to Earth. Hopefully, it's not too bad, because he seems to be the type that might take it TOO hard.

Agreed. The point where I stopped believing anything he said was when he did the whole "Bowe will be signing soon" and when that didn't occur he blamed it on a bad source and then defended that terrible piece of trash his boss authored about the whole situation.
