Well Jayhawk fans, we got no MU, No KSU and had a hard time with an inspired NU team. This tourney has had it's strange twist so far, Hey, CU beat Baylor.

So here we are Rd # 2, aTm vs KU , Sat.. What time is the game ? I'm thinking 3 PM or 3:30 PM, anybody know ?

Mark Turgeon, back in the KC area against KU. Sorry Mark, we love ya but it's time to go down again. I look for aTm to keep it closer this time.

KU will most likely be a #2. However, with Duke losing today and a win over Texas tomorrow, KU could possibly end up with a #1. Still, I don't think they will because it will probably be decided before that game is even played. I think KU solidified their #2 by getting to the conference championship game.

That's why the Big 12 Tournament is moving to Wed-Sat next year.

Duke has lost today, and especially if Tennessee losses (they're down 2 at halftime), I don't think they can decide until the game is over... I think they'll have to put Texas/Kansas in a #1 slot and Kansas/Texas in a #2 slot, and move on with seedings until the game is over.

If UNC, UCLA, and Kansas win their tournaments, it works out well for Kansas; especially if Tenessee losses. Kansas would probably get the last #1 and be matched up with Tenessee or Duke in Houston or Detroit.

If UNC, UCLA, and Texas win, I think they'll give Houston to Memphis and send Texas to Detroit; then Kansas would be matched up against Memphis in Houston.

I think it gets interesting if UCLA losses, especially if Tennesse wins their tournament. Then you're looking at a situation where the winner of Texas/Kansas gets a #1, but gets shipped out to Phoenix and matched up with UCLA.

Who cares about bubble teams... being on the top is what it's all about.

i think we are a #2 all the way .... about the only thing we can hope for now is that we don't get the #2 in UCLA's bracket since they get to play home games throughout the tourney.

Obviously, I'm not some expert like that Lunardi guy people always talk about, but I think it's best if UCLA wins... UCLA would be the second #1 and Kansas would either be the fourth #1 or first #2, regardless of what happens vs. Texas tomorrow. If Kansas wins and UCLA losses, we're at risk of being the last #1 seed and being matched up with a #2 UCLA in Phoenix. jmho.

How do you figure? The one seeds I see are North Carolina, Memphis, UCLA, Kansas.

Am I missing something. Duke and Tennessee both lost today.
