James Richard Clausen: Calling CP GMs

Let's break down his game as if we have him on tape telling fans, presumably, to "shut the **** up."

We need a legit QB. This much is clear. If he's available when the Chiefs pick in round 1, do you pull the trigger?

No bullshit responses like, "Pioli won't do it."

He traded for Cassel--this move speaks for his level of competency. You're in charge. What do you do?

I predict I "mother****" at least half the draft picks.

Nothing like having $180 million invested in the defensive line.

I'm not saying I'd take him over someone like Berry but without knowing where we will draft yet, Cody might be in play. I'd rather do that over Clausen.
If Cody is a truly dominant NT, he's worth the pick. The problem is that he may have serious motivation issues and he's only a two down player.

Pioli isn't Carl. I know alot of Patriots are considered to have huge ego's but they also aren't very loyal to players. If he isn't producing he will be gone.

And we make fun of posters who want 5 first rounders across the o-line.

We're going to have a ****ing first-round rotation on the damn d-line before long.

Yeah, yeah; call me a lapdog or a puppy, but what I am I supposed to do when Hamas has already said what I wanted to say?

Re-type just to put MY name on the same sentiment? No.

Pioli is tied to Pioli

Cassel is a liability, and the equation will shift to a point where it is a positive for Pioli to move on him, to demonstrate his own resolve and competence...same with Haley...

Pioli, like it or not, gets a second chance at a coach and QB...he'll be forced to do something unless a god damn miracle happens next year

I guess we'll see.

The fear is that we upgrade enough that Cassel looks competent...and then he shits the bed in an important game.

So...did Cassel just complete the single worst two game stretch for any QB in Chiefs history? Honest question, just a guess.

If he continues to shit the bed in the final 3 games, certainly it will force Pioli's hand to do something, right? Anything?

If Haley is still here, I really don't think they'll draft him if they think he has any character/motivation issues. But we'll see.

I'm kinda thinking fourth dimensionally with Cody. If they do take him, they are satisfied with his character, and they will get him in shape to play all three downs. But maybe not.
