Landry getting too big to play Safety?
Recent pictures posted on free agent SS LaRon Landry's Twitter feed show Landry to be extremely muscle bound.
They can be viewed at the link below. We're speculating, but Landry has appeared to pump so much iron with his upper body that he might be too heavy or bulging to stay at safety. Landry also passed on Achilles' surgery after the season, even though it was recommended by several doctors. His priorities may be more on getting ripped than playing defensive back effectively at this point.

He's not that big. 220-225 at the most. When someone is lean they always LOOK bigger than they actually are. The one pic seems to be slightly distorted.

You've seen pictures of TJ flexing, right? How do you expect him to run into those holes that close so quickly in the NFL? Especially with his advanced age. He doesn't have the speed and burst that he used to, and his big fat ass is definitely holding him back. We absolutely saw that this year when the team depended on him and he failed.
