An active, posting member or a lurker?

I have a reason of my own for the question and it's a simple answer. No judgment against lurkers since I'm not making the poll public. (the rules do state no lurking though).

Lurkers please vote... you aren't going to be outed. Active members please vote so we can outnumber the lurkers.

I'm wondering how many sick bastards just want to read the drivel (and news of course) here against how many contribute to the drivel (and news of course).

I'm also trying to compare CP to a study I read today.

As stated in the OP I didn't make the poll public so lurkers wouldn't be afraid to vote. I want them to vote.

I think it's interesting that people sign in and read topics yet refrain from posting their opinions. I guess it's kind of like they would rather not get a taste of it out of fear of becoming addicted and joining the rest of us that aren't as productive at times as we could be

I don't think it's just about building post count when you say "+1" or "this" or something similar. Yeah it builds your post count but it also helps recognize statements people have and let's them know they have views and opinions that are shared and/or respected by others.

CP is a special place for special people. A lot of intelligent posters... a lot of idiots. A lot of mix up between the two. Some people won't tell the cops what they saw and won't post on CP.
