Yep. That's a world of pain. I think Missouri's got some upside down the road, but as long as Hunt and Glass own the KC teams, I really don't see things improving. All they care about is money. There's always the chance that the Chiefs might catch lightning in a bottle the way the Rams once did, but odds are against it.

Which brings us to Scott Pioli. It's 1 of 2 things--either he has absolutely no talent evaluation skills in terms of by far the most important position in today's league, or the bald-headed egomaniac prick is simply too stubborn and small penised to admit he made a mistake on Casshole. Not being able to evaluate qb talent completely negates any talent evaluation skills one might have regarding other positions on the field--and the jury is certainly out on whether he's any better evaluating other positions than he is at qb.

Personally, I'd like to see Pioli fired immediately and unceremoniously. I know it's the first game, blah blah blah, but I'd love to see Clark Hunt walk into Pioli's office and just say, "sorry Scott, it just hasn't worked out for any of us. Pack up your things in this box and Security will escort you to your car." Or better yet, Clark Hunt would walk into Scott Pioli's office with a live grenade and say "this is for the good of the Kansas City Chiefs franchise" just before he threw it on the floor and blew both of them into tiny little pieces.

We're screwed until Pioli is fired. With the usual Hunt urgency in terms of putting a winning product on the field, that won't happen for at least 2 more crappy seasons.

I really like Pioli. I have been happy with a lot of the roster moves. A lot of them.

I cannot take another year without getting a QB. Or trying. If this is what it takes, so be it. I have not liked Cassel since 2010, even during that season you could see the guy has zero accuracy. Completion percentage masks inaccuracy with him.

I can't take it anymore.
