On to the Main Event. Does Fisher get signed on time?
Now we know where Albert's fate lies for the upcoming season dollar wise. Only one more bit of business to take care of by next week.

Joeckel has signed, so we pretty much know what Fisher's deal has to be better than to get the deal done.

Let's roll Dorsey. No excuse for not getting it done on time.

This! His contract is basically slotted, but Joeckel's contract is done, so it has to be more than that one was. From what I have heard/read we don't have a lot of cap space to work with... even though I know a certain portion of the cap is allotted for rookie contracts. They may have to get creative to get it under the cap.

And in Smith's interview yesterday, it very much sounded as if Smith is reporting Monday with the rookies. I like this. I just hope Fisher is there too to get this thing off and rolling in the right direction.

Clark Hunt cleaned house this offseason. He brought in a very coveted GM, the best available head coach (by a wide margin) along with an experienced coaching staff. They brought in the best available QB, signed Dwayne Bowe long term and filled holes through free agency.

If Hunt had not fired Pioli and Crennel, you'd have a point. That's moot.
