Andy probably won't even consider such a thing until year three but I hope he does. We need that big arm before our defense gets to old.

I have to believe that Reid is smart enough, has seen enough good QB play, is aggressive enough, and believes so much in the passing game that he has to be contemplating what needs to be done at the QB position.

The article before the season stating that he would try to get Alex to push the ball down field more shows that he recognized this a long time ago, and for all the reasons stated above, realizes that he has not been able to do that so far.
NFL coaches have huge egos, I'm sure he is no different in that regard.
I'm also pretty sure he considers himself an offensive master mind. It has to irk him to not be able to produce more points. It will take a failure like this past one in the post-season to get this ball rolling though. There is no way he will be able to stomach letting a team this complete accomplish nothing, just because he cant get anything out the position he is known for being such a guru with.
Something's gotta give.
