Question for the DD-WRT experts
I'm having a problem with excess bandwidth and can't figure out where it is coming from. My Buffalo router had a really good bandwidth monitor but it is only a one size fits all overall usage monitor. I need something that will monitor usage on each individual device. Are there any add ons for DDWRT that will do this? I'm not really having any luck finding anything that will do this.

Could do virtual PC or Vmware server or Vmware player.

You can even install Hyper-v on Windows 8.1.

VirtualBox is pretty slick. I had some issues getting Kali running with a dynamically sized disc, but considering the capacity I've got in this new machine that shouldn't be a problem for a little while.

I still use VMWare Fusion for Windows 7 virtualization though. It's ability to access my full Boot Camp Windows drive is just great.

Well the good news is that they sent me a brand new router. The bad news is that they upgraded me to a new router that doesn't use DDWRT so now I have no monitoring control at all.

On a side note, I'm tempted to install DD-WRT on my new Netgear R7000. The stock firmware has some "issues".

the new routers wifi is faulty so now they are going to send me another replacement. This time they are going to send me back the duplicate to the one I actually sent in so I will have my DDWRT back.
