Just throwing this out there...

I can't fathom the number of things that always seem to happen with the Chiefs and from a fan's perspective, I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through.

It's like an endless cycle of the same stuff and I know it's maddening. I'm not posting this to be an ass or as some veiled attempt to talk smack. I realize that Denver isn't doing anything special this year unless they turn things around on offense. And, I sincerely long for the days when the AFCW is a beast again - overall with all teams playing well.

You guys have had an amazingly weird season and things got really bad this week. Injuries suck and losing guys like Charles are hard to overcome. It's like the franchise takes two big steps forward in the offseason and then three steps back.

So, just saying that I'm not going to get too involved with any commentary because you guys are tearing your worlds apart with all the talk around players, coaches, next year... there's no need in trying to pee in the pool at this point.

I hope things turn around, you'd like to think that Reid has an idea as to what his plan is and how to overcome it. Maybe it's time to blow it up again, but hell, that seems crazy.

You guys are a great fan base and you deserve to sit on top for a while, I do hope that happens soon. Sucks to be at this point so early in the season. Tex and others will flame away with the mule tool rhetoric and that's fine.

It really does suck that I find myself rooting against teams rather than for my own. For instance, I can't even describe how much I hate Denver and New England. Is it more than my love for the Chiefs? Actually, it may very well be. When you have nothing to be positive about, the negativity flooooows...

That's ****ing pitiful.

On the bright side, being a Chiefs fan callouses fans for real life. Most just shrug it off when their house burns and say #becausechiefs.

You're alright but I hate the broncos and am anxious for their decade of dispair.

Hate to say it, but their winning percentage is the best since coming into the league...their terrible years are when they get blown out in the SuperBowl.

Seriously though, I have been saying KC won't do crap with Smith and Reid except win 8 to 9 games. That required their D to play as they were hyped up to be. Their D coordinator should be worried about his job. All KC ownership really cares about is a full stadium of fans padding their pocketbook. 8-8 is just fine.
YOU FORGOT DRINK ANTIFREEZE BITCH!!

You just get numb and stop caring. I didn't even bother to listen to the game on the radio this week. I was doing yard work and didn't want to bother going into the house to get my phone. I figured the Chiefs would find a way to lose anyhow, and with the season already over did I want to even bother?

The last time KC won a *playoff game* this board didn't even exist yet. Most of us didn't even have the Internet and those who did were on dial-up with AOL or some such.

Think about that for a minute. Kids graduating from high school today have never seen a Chiefs playoff victory. Very soon, there will be college grads who have never seen one. That really says something about the organization.

I'm convinced that no matter who I root for, they will lose the games that matter most. I swear, I really should become a Broncos fan.

I good friend of mines daughter posted a pic of her newborn son yesterday with a new chiefs shirt on. I couldn't help but ask her why she was dooming the poor soul to a lifetime of disappointment.

Elway knows the importance of a Franchise QB. He'll probably sign Aaron Rogers or someone like that. Meanwhile, the Chiefs will sign Collin Kaepernick or something...

My Sundays will be a lot more focused on what they should be rather than letting a inept organization ruin my day.

I guess you could say that this organization has finally turned me into what I despise, and that's a fair weather fan...no reason to be otherwise anymore.
I'm with you. This was the first year in more than a decade I did not order NFL Sunday Ticket... Deal is you are not a fair weather fan, and neither am I. The Chiefs will always be in our DNA. Deal is, we're fed up and its on THEM to win our support back. We've proven our loyalty throughout our lives and they keep doing the same old shit. There are consequences and the fan base not caring is one of them. That's on THEM bro, NOT us.

Like your handle says, you are a "Fan 4 Ever" and that's a special type of fan. The Chiefs have taken that for granted and don't deserve your outward support.

Poor planning and risk-averse, shitty building philosophy does NOT constitute "snake bitten".

Let us get that straight.
