Roethlisberger sits out practice

Injury list has him out for today's practice (foot)...It has to be more serious than they were leading on. Missing time in such a critical week cant be a positive.

He'll play...I have no doubt about that but how much will it affect him?

Maybe.

The one thing that I would be screaming as a Steelers fan......is why the **** was he even in the game? Didn't he get hurt on the second to last play? They pulled Bell but didn't pull Ben? Or ****ing Brown for that matter.

Not only in the game but throwing downfield. It was mind-numbingly stupid.

He was trying to get some extra practice in so he could rest on Wednesday.

Anyone that tries to argue that Mike Tomlin is a decent coach just doesn't watch the Steelers that much.

Belichick would've won 5 championships with the talent that Tomlin has had. He's had some genuine studs and hasn't done a hell of a lot with them.

Admittedly, they've had years they've flat out missed the playoffs which with what they've had, shouldn't happen.

But its hard for me to get to upset with his results.

Because he took over the young core of a team that won a Super Bowl and...uh....won a Super Bowl with it?

Tomlin's not a bad coach, I just see no cause to call him a particularly good one. He fell into the sweetest gig since Seifert took over the 1989 49ers. It's hard not to win when you come into that kind of situation.

But the returns have been diminishing the further and further removed he's gotten from Cowher's influence.

I don't necessarily disagree, but they're in a pretty tough division for one. The GM hasn't done much to the D until recently.

I dunno. Maybe I need to look more at it. I've always felt the Steelers have been one of the better teams in the league, but the results aren't exactly there.

I trust Roethlisberger's injury status as far as I can throw him. And he's a big dude.

Yeah this is just a ploy on the Steelers behalf hoping the Chiefs let their guard down.

Played last week. Don't know why he wouldn't go Sunday.

The guy we're going to miss it looks like is TE Lardarius Green. His concussion is still an issue.
