Dirtiest High School Basketball Play Ever?

I watched this game last night since the winner was going to play our local high school team (who won 65-54 tonight) for the state title.

Here is the play:

https://deadspin.com/kansas-high-sch...kin-1823671758

I thought the crowd was going to riot. It was insane, and I have no idea how the kid didn’t get ejected. Justice prevailed and Hanover won the semi-final game in overtime.

Someone please embed so I can place in the OP.

When cowards do shit like this, going after them and knocking their block off is the only way they're going to learn.

He only did this because he knew he could get away w/ it because he was protected by the coaches, refs, possibly a police officer or 2, in case things turned ugly. This guy does this in a pickup game at the local gym or on the playground, he'd get his ****in ass kicked.

As a friend/teammate you immediately go over and kick the shit out of him, and let the school admin dish out punishment later and deal w/ it.

An ejection and a possible suspension isn't going to teach this coward a damn thing. I dont promote fighting in school but as a male, as a competitor that isn't right and you have to do something about that. That wasn't a hard foul...that was a horrible cheap shot and the guy couldve been badly hurt if he lands the wrong way. Sometimes you have to let the dog off the chain and let some ol fashioned street justice take it's toll. This would be one of those times.

And you get suspended essentially forfeiting this game and the next, which happened to be the championship.

I don't agree. Hanover handled it as good as you can ask. The ref shit the bed.

The Pistons really toyed with my sporting emotions back in the day. When it was Laimbeer and the rough play taking center stage I hated them, especially against the Celtics. When Isaiah and Rodman took over the game, particularly after they'd been beaten down a few times and were now underdogs, PARTICULARLY against the Lakers, I loved them.

It's a dirty play, but I have to believe that at some point, someone has shot another player on a basketball court to lay claim to the dirtiest play ever.

Laimbeer was a POS. That's not basketball. Bob Huggins probably has this video on a loop.

Those Detriot teams punked the Lakers, Chicago, Celtics, Knicks...it just didn't matter.
