Now that the preseason is over finally, the real bullets start to fly!

Who wins? What matchups can we take advantage of? How do we matchup with their offense, defense, special teams?

We must beat them. My wife's aunt is a big fan and she's as annoying as their uniforms.

I'm not sure why all the discussions gravitate towards the starting QBs. I think it's pretty unlikely that the passing game is going to be the prominent story for either team this Sunday.

Neither QB has shown enough for anyone to be puffing their chest out over.

Winning? Not because of Cassell, look at that schedule closer. It was a joke.

San Diego walks with this division.

The same Chargers lost to Seattle and St.Louis. Teams that KC stomped in the same venues. If the Raiders hadn't lost to Arizona and San Fran, they would have won the division as well.

I guess we'll charge those L's double since they came against teams that were a cake walk for KC.

Take off, you hoser, eh? The stats are in the book and you can't touch them, but they rarely tell the whole story. The quality of opponent is one factor that there is no asterisk next to in the book, but to me there is a difference between beating New England and beating Cincinnati, for example. Both wins would count the same, but one is more impressive than the other.

People pick apart stats all the time. Like if a QB throws a perfect pass that bounces off the receivers hands and that pass is intercepted, that counts as an INT against the QB in the books. But it's not his fault and in the books anyway. Lots of different things to consider if you want to see the big picture.

Obviously, teams and players don't decide who they are going to play. Good players SHOULD play well against bad teams...but the true test comes against the better teams. Ask any Bills fan about Trent Edwards in 2008, when he started the season beating 4 bad teams in a row and then San Diego. He was 5-0... You get a false sense of accomplishment.

Without reading everything that's been said already, this game worries me. I think Buffalo is headed in the right direction for short-term success. They've built a pretty good defense out of free agents for the most part, and Fitzpatrick and Johnson are underrated on offense. If CJ Spiller does what he's supposed to do, this could be a pretty good team.

Well, I guess whatever stats they put up this week don't count. If the Bills win, the Chiefs suck as well and all Buffalo's stats are null and void Sorry, it is ****ing reeruned. The Niners were supposed to have an awesome D last year and KC torched em. Do those stats count or not??? It's the NFL, not a D1 FBS team playing a lower rung FCS squad. If the Chiefs are what I think they are this year, they will at least knock off a couple of those upper echeleon teams they play this year. If not, it will be a disappointment.

Here is what we have going on in Buffalo, because I know many of you don't realize it:

C. J. Spiller is atrocious at pass blocking and doesn't have the feel for lanes like Fred Jackson and it is becoming a major concern. This is his season to break out, and during training camp Fred Jackson stated unequivocably that he IS the man and should be treated as such.

Without Lee Evans, we have to fins a #2 guy worthy of taking the heat off of Johnson, because this season he's #1 and will be double teamed many plays. With Marcus Easley hurt and Roscoe Parrish almost always hurt, our receiving corps is shaky.

Our offensive line is a patchwork of possibly good guys (Wood, Levitre) to inconsistent (Bell), to below average (Pears, Urbik) to green (Hairston). I fear for the health of Fitzpatrick, a great mental quarterback who could shine if he ha more support. He doesn't have a cannon arm, but he's MUCH MUCH better than Flutie, Rob Johnson, J.P. Losman, Trent Edwards, insert more bums here.... LOL

So there you go.
