That man has been single-handidly making chicken salads since Marty left the organization.

The only thing I hate about the Chiefs is their continued neglect of the QB position. You will of course disagree as you believe Smith has what it takes to win a SB, but I contend that as long as there exists a Brady and a Big Rape to run the offense of their respective teams, you are up against a brick wall when the playoffs come around. Luckily, you have a defense and special teams which can help offset that, but to what degree?
Don't tell me why I hate Rivers and what would make me like him. The guy is a douche.
That's like saying you would have voted Hillary if she was Chiefs fan. I dont like the ****er period and never have.

Romanowski, Talib, Greg Hardy,Travis Henry, Anyone with the last name Pouncy, etc....

Sorry I dont drop my dislike for a player just because they might one day wear R&G.

I have never claimed Smith is an elite QB, he isn't. I would still love to have an elite QB.

Fact is I trust Dorsey and Reid and the winning streak and history they all have together the last 4 years so sorry if I think you might be dumber than they are on football and QB's.

Well no I am not sorry. Deal with it.

I will respect your hate. You have made me see the light and have helped to further validate my own hatred and distaste of Alex.
Thank you, Sir.

Well I can understand your take but on the matter of disclosure, when Alex was lighting it up in SF and then got benched, well before I knew he would be a Chief, I said then SF ****ed up.

Was rooting for him to succeed then as an underdog story having followed his career and no reason to stop when he became a Chief.

So its not some Chief fan blind homerism.

Realize you are watching a good Chief team and will get a new QB before too long so you can root for success while waiting for your drafted QB, they dont have to be mutually exclusive.

How long? Do you realize how utterly sad and pathetic it would be if the Chiefs handed the keys over to Foles while continuing to dumpster-dive for QB's in the late rounds?
Your point is taken, but I'll believe it when I see it.
In the meantime, it would serve the Chiefs well to win the AFCCG. That would be an important benchmark for the franchise going forward in to the 2017 season. When the better FA's see that KC is continuing it's uphill path, that the success is legitimate and can be sustained, and that KC's reputation as a first-class franchise in regards to it's relationship to it's players is more than an "opinion", it will help to lure them here should Dorsey and Reid decide that their services are needed.

His problem is that the "dude" that is "open over here" is too often a member of the other team.
