Peyton Manning to visit Denver TONIGHT to meet with Donks
Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.

This is getting serious, folks.

Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

The Broncos' top brass of John Elway, coach John Fox and general manager Brian Xanders, are currently in Stillwater, Okla., watching the Oklahoma State Pro Day workout that features quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft and has been projected to go between the Broncos' top two picks.

Manning will turn 36 in two weeks.

Look, if he signs with Denver - I'm really not going to blame Pioli for this. However, it does give me another validation of why John Elway will be consigned to the pits of hell for all of eternity.

I've been telling you guys to chill. Peyton has already talked to the Chiefs! He is using the others to work his contract #'s up. Sure he will go through the process, make it all look real, his last visit will be in KC.

The one thing I think KC REALLY has going in their favor is that Tom Condon is his agent. Yeah Peyton will choose his own, but at least KC has typically always been on good terms with Condon.
