You are forgetting a fairly large portion of the video game market:

Children.

Right now:
Xbox > PS2 - Graphically
Xbox < PS2 - Game Selection. And no most aren't jap games whoever said that..

I just thought it was funny that most people think the Xbox blows PS2 out of the water graphically when it isn't even a fair comparison. Mircro$oft had a year to build superior gaming system...no wonder its superior.

A better comparison is the GameCube to the Xbox, since they were released at the same time in hopes for competition. Nintendo sucks a dick so Xbox clearly won that battle. The PS2 clearly beat Nintendo and ithe PS2, again, was released a year before.

So, I was just trying to point out a fact, when he missed the point....

Who cares if it's a fair comparison? I still don't get your point. Are you saying Xbox is better? And yeah, PS2 does have a lot more games. Reasons: Jap market and it had a year and a half more time to build it's library (that would be your point). BUT I do believe Xbox has more superior titles than PS2, and people don't tend to own 100's of games, they only get the best. In that category Xbox wins, IMO.

Yes, but the bigger market is teens->young adults. 14-28 range.

Point being? That doesn't make either one a better system. Each system serves its purpose.

Just beat Half-Life 2. Wow. Simply wow. Best game ever, period. Guess that makes PC the best system.

Seriously, that was probably the most incredible game I've played, both on PC and the box. Incredible.

Actually, Gamecube does have killer graphics, better than alot of ps2 games imo. Check out the more recent Resident Evil games and you would see for yourself.

I have all three and I play my Xbox a TON more than the other two, but it is due to the type of games I prefer (FPS mainly). I love the Xbox controller, followed by the gamecube controller. I can't stand ps2's.

For my money I'll keep my X-Box. I had a PS2 and had some trouble with it. I will probably buy a new one once Grand Turismo 4 comes out.

It looks like Forza Motorsports might be a GT killer. But I agree, GT and GTA series (I'm impatient) are the only reasons I'd even think about getting a PS2.

Allright we agree on something! Forza looks pretty good. You have any idea when that's supposed to be out?

It does but I've been hooked on GT since it came out. I really hope that it can break the bond! I can't imagine a racing simulator better than GT but I would love to see it.
