Policy reminder

ChiefsPlanet is a source of news for our members, lurkers, and sometimes even the paid media. We take pride in this. Many of our members no longer frequent their old Chiefs news haunts because everything hits here as soon as it is available. We've even been known to scoop the traditional media at times. We have a good thing going here and we'd like to preserve the good reputation we've earned in cyperspace.

Posting unconfirmed speculation as fact will not be tolerated. Posting same as a joke without some distinguishable sattire "tell" will not be tolerated. These are bannable offenses. If somebody heard it on the radio in Japan, you better identify that questionable source so we know to take it with a grain of salt. If you got it off the Star's BB, that's okay but please identify your source. If you don't want to ID your source, then post it as an opinion or a guess - not fact.

Another reminder: if you cut and paste an article from anywhere else, please leave a courtesy link. If there is no link, your thread is at risk for deletion. ChiefsPlanet could actually get in trouble for this practice.

Thanks for your attention.

You can forget the monkey and just fly on down here for the weekend and I will TRAIN you right.

I don't think Blundin or Barnes started a reg season game.

Ooops. Vlasic wasn't drafted by the Chiefs.

I really think it's Kenney in 88.

You type alot.....but don't ever say anything.

Phildo, you should probably take this down to the elementary. How many players are allowed to be on the field, for 1 team at the same time?

former Miami 12th-round draft choice QB Bill Kenney entered the lineup.

The correct answer wasn't what I was looking for. I was just looking for an intelligent response. Joe Montana would have been a failing grade.

At least you threw out a QB we actually drafted - though I'm nearly certain he never started a game for us. You did well.

Heh - see, I totally failed. Prior to 89, all I know is drinking beer in cornfields and getting loose girls into the backseat of my ride.

I kinda of got your drift when you said drafted.... But I am pretty sure Barnes did play a game or two. I am needed at school and I was having so much fun with you all.. So look it up for us today....see how many games Barnes did play.....

I don't even think Barnes played in a game period. Much less start. I don't think he even made it to 2nd string.

Nope. Unless you count NFLE.

(NFLE = National Football League Europe....across the Atlantic Ocean, consisting of teams from countries like Scottland, Germany, England....the continent adjacent to Asia, nearly halfway around the globe. It's affiliated with the NFL, of which our Chiefs (allegedly) are a part. This involves AMERICAN football, as opposed to soccer, which is known to the rest of the world as "football." If this is too confusing, please resume watchin' NASCAR.... )

Nfl.com shows him appearing in one game in 1999 for the 49ers. No passes attempted and no rushes, so I assume that was just to hand the ball off to close out a game or something.
