You knew it was coming... 3 WORST songs?

I'm amazed that I haven't seen this thread on here. The 3 WORST songs of all time:

Terry Jacks - Seasons In The Sun
Morris Albert - Feelings

and a special spot in the bottom pit of hell for

Bobby Goldsboro - Watching Scotty Grow.

Discuss.

There's sooooooo many great nominations for bad songs. I guess the song itself would have to be bad....wretched cover versions of decent songs don't count.

How Bout:
Muskrat Love: Captain & Teneille
Mickey: Toni Basil
Too Legit to Quit: MC Hammer

Actually, I'm a big fan of really bad album art. My favorite site is here:

The three most annoying songs are:

Micky by Toni Basil

YMCA by The Village People

I Ran by A Flock of Seagulls

The three worst songs are:

We Built This City by Jefferson Starship or Airplane or Blimp or whatever they are...

Lick it Up by Kiss

Sunglasses At Night by Corey Heart (I believe it is). Quite honestly, just about any of those one hit wonders from the 80's would fit in the top three of the worst songs ever.

Wow. I didn't know that! If that's the case BOTH groups should be put up against the wall and POP goes the Weasel (or Muskrat in this case).

"Voices Carry" by whoever the hell that was.

"Zombie" by the Suckberries

Any and all songs by Kiss. Sorry, but if they had talent they wouldn't have to wear makeup.

Saftey Dance is one of my all time favs. It's actually THE song responsible for my switch from country to pop/rock as a kid..... and it's "leave your FRIENDS behind..."

No I don't have it and Joe is still in the band the last I knew. I have a good friend who is totally nuts about DL...I'll ask her.

That's called a gimmick. A calling card. Something to set them apart from every other faceless band of the time. It only made them the biggest band of the decade in the 70's and helped them continue selling millions of albums and merchandise 2 1/2 decades later. Not to mention how it helped change the "face" of rock music forever.

But you're right....every band should look like Bread. Who would ever want anything different.

I've said my peace now...

I knew I'd touch a few nerves with that one.

The fact is, bands with actual talent don't need gimmicks—they let their music be their calling card.

And saying that they changed the face of music forever really doesn't hlep your argument -- Kiss is responsible for the pathetic hair bands of the '80s.

Also, the fact they sold millions of albums means nothing to me. So did Milli Vanilli and a host of other shitty bands. Some of the best bands ever never sold tons of albums ... just ask the Ramones.
