Have you ever been ejected from an event venue?

Sports, concert, or otherwise? Any stories to tell?

You should have offered the guard some of that marijuana stuff you like.

In high school, I once was thrown out of Worlds of Fun for swimming in the fountain at the old front gate. It was a hot, hot day, and I wanted to cool off.

i managed to get escorted off the beach by two cops. i was at the bar on the beach with a friend. he was waaaaay too drunk, i wasn't much better but at least i could walk. he got off his barstool, and proceeded to fall flat on his face, right as a cop walked by. the officer was pretty cool, made sure we made it to the car, and made sure we had a designated driver. he then told me that if he saw us again that night, we'd get arrested for public intox. this wouldn't have been too bad, if the sun had gone down already. but this was at about 630 in the evening.

I can't believe that nobody has a story about getting kicked out of a baseball game at some point in their playing days.

I used to have a bit of a temper, especially in sports, but had somehow managed to make it to 10th grade before being removed from a sporting event.

I played on a summer baseball team after my sophomore year and the league had a playoff format similar to MLB, except that we would play doubleheaders. I was the starting pitcher for Game 2 and we were playing a team that had the manager of entire sports complex for their coach. I saw him talking to the umpires (his employees) before the game while I was warming up and looking in my direction. Now the story only gets better because that coach had been fired by my dad about 4 years prior from a sales position, so I knew he had it out for me.

Anyways, I go out for the Top 1st and walk the first 5 batters on 20 straight balls according the home plate ump. Keep in mind that I did not throw overly powerful...I was more of a junk pitcher and a pitcher who could hit his target. The fans on our side were groaning and yelling at the ump quite a bit and my catcher stood up after the 5th walk and asked the ump to show the zone. I of course was steaming and looked over the coach and saw him laughing. After the crowd settled down and I delayed the game for about 3 minutes, I threw the first pitch to the 6th batter right down the middle as he just watched and laughed. "Ball 1!" the ump yells. I completely lost my composure and screamed several things I'm not proud of. The most vivid detail of that outing was my coach putting me in a full nelson and dragging me off the field.

The part that I regret today is how embarassed my parents were. I remember watching them walk off in disbelief.

I was ejected from a coed slow pitch softball game out at Mid-America. I'm an extremely competitive person, and when he called me out I just lost it. Of course it could have been worse because instead of getting to keep playing I was forced to drink more beer with our fans... Other than that, just the occasional technical and flagrant fouls in basketball while I was growing up and 1 flagrant in my rec league I play in now.

Nope...I just could not stand to take that shit all day wearing Chief gear. I was dressed "nuetral", but I guess that probably stood out. A couple of buddies were worried about me, but one of them said, " Hell with him, he is a chief fan any way "! What are friends for...

I had Tony Muser's dad come up to me and tell me to show a little class for the kids for making a comment about how pathetic the Royals pitching staff was. Our seats were both behind home plate. I wasn't cussing out loud or anything until I told him to kiss my ass and go sit back down in which he did. Later an usher, who happened to be my friend pretended to come over and say something to me just to calm Muser's dad down so he wouldnt go to upper management. By the way I wasn't acting childish by any means, and its not like I was saying something that wasn't true, Muser's dad is just a real asshole.

that guy is your friend?

I had a friend who once apologized like four hundred times for something that didn't warrant an apology.
