WAAAAAAA...it all Cassel/Bowe's fault....Oh really? It was a TEAM losing effort.

Two elements that made us 3-0 were not there

1) Running game did not control LoS and eat up time.

2) Special teams did not create strong field position or points.

But go ahead and bash away on only TWO players.

Eh...We lost the game for a variety of reasons. It's just boils down to a lot of things.

I didn't agree with some of the calls Haley made. I thought those calls came back to haunt us...(i.e., the onside kick in the beginning, and going for it on 4th and 2 late in the first qtr in Indy's own end). Those two scenarios ended up in us losing points and giving Indy points.

Just too risky, and I don't think it's worth it to take too many chances against a team like the Colts. I mean don't get me wrong, you have take chances to win, but it's the type of chances we took today that I didn't agree with. We should of approached this game differently. If we were going to take chances, why not go down the field a bit? Yeah I know Cassel is not that great, but you can't neglect the passing game and expect to win. Todays game proved that imo. I thought we ignored it for the most part and relied heavily on the running game which most people thought was the right thing to do since Indy's rushing defense is not that good. Well, the running game didn't work for us and proved to be a little conservative for the most part.

What really agitated me was not capitalizing on the turnover. That right there was the MAIN reason why we lost. And Im not gonna blame Cassel, it was Bowe. So screw that for saying, ..."all Bowe fault", because he proved to be the major contributor into why we lost. He should of caught that pass, there was nothing wrong with the pass, but when Bowe dropped it and started smiling after, that part made me really angry...**** him stupid a**hole, players like him don't make your team better...Haley made a good point benching him last year. I can see why. And I think he should contemplate on doing it again.

Bowe aside, Love the way the defense played. That is how you defend Manning and the Colts. Hali's play changed my opinion about him. I thought he went out and played a great game. So did Dorsey, DJ and Flowers. Crennel is the best off-season acquisition by far.

*Tony Moeaki is going to be special. Kids got game. We need to use him more.

*Btw, Indy got the bounces too...Charles fumble hurt us. We forced a fumble, but they recovered it. When I saw those two things it made me think today wasn't going to be our day.

*Lastly I ****in HATE the Colts w/ a passion.

This, goddamnit!!!

Peyton "Jesus ****ing Christ-like God-hands Boy Wonder Face-of-all GOAT" Manning had ZERO goddamn TDs and 1 INT.

COME ON.

Defense was hardly the issue.

32. Denver Broncos (No. 23; 2-5): With four wins and 13 losses over the last 17 games and a 45-point loss at home to the Raiders, we'd put the Broncos lower than No. 32 if we could

Cassel isnt a longterm option. If Croyle is injury prone, take a chance on him.
I had Bowe on my fantasy team last year and was dissappointing. This team is short an average qb and a playmaking wide receiver from being a yearly playoff contender. Future is very bright.

Im a bears fan first and foremost in the nfl but am an Iowa and cfb fanatic. Ive watched Indy wheneer they are on because of Dallas Clark and Bob Sanders. I have never seen how disrupted the Colts offense looked today. You got a great defense. You never want to lose but there was a lot of good to take away from this game.
That's exactly the way I see it. Smart people in Iowa.

FINALLY, someone that understands.

Ranting, blaming, and crying is obliviously more fun on the CP.

Quite comical.

Next loss will be also be doom and gloom.

Of course I would have been thrilled if we converted it. But the fact is I didn't like risking a potential 3 points to begin with. I really wanted to see the kicking team come onto the field. Cassel being our QB doesn't make me any more comfortable to go for it there either. Against the Colts/Manning you TAKE YOUR POINTS. Especially early on.

Weis is trying to call plays with a QB who throws like an 8th grade girl.

Yep, we lost because our team couldn't completely carry Cassel like the rest of the season. Damn you ST's and Defense for not scoring any TD's!
