How much would you give for Barkley or Griffin?

I know there has been a lot of talk about those two Qb prospects but I thought it might be a good idea to make a poll to know just how much Chiefs fans really want to draft a top QB prospect in 2012.

I am one of those who believe this team is more or less an above-average QB away from being possibly a contender every year.

Let's say the Chiefs have around the 10th pick in the upcoming draft and need to trade up 5 spots to pick before both the Redskins and the Dolphins who will likely draft the best QB available at their spot.

How much would you be willing to offer to make sure you have the chance to draft either Griffin III or Barkley?

BTW, I am not talking about Luck here because I personnally don't think there is any chance the Colts will trade the pick.

There is not one person in this thread that is saying we don't need a QB. I think everyone knows (and most have known for a long time) that QB is the #1 position of need on this team. You don't have to get rid of Bowe to move up in the draft though.

NE's problem has never been their offense. It's been their shit ass defense.

If it comes down to Bowe wants out or there is no other way to trade up besides adding Bowe, then you do it if it's for a franchise QB.

Out of the two QB's mentioned, I'm partial to RG3 not as NFL ready but a much higher ceiling.
I skimmed the thread and noticed a lot of bickering about him so I threw in my opinion on packaging him with some picks. If it came down to just picks I'd Ditka our draft for RGIII. If we had to throw in a key player or 2, I would rather deal Bowe than say Hali, Berry, Flowers, or Charles.

What's the point behind this post?

Hold out on Luck/Barkley/RG3 falling to #15?

Pioli approves of this.

New England was winning SBs because they played great defense, had an outstanding head coach, and a QB that made plays when it mattered the most.

There is no set formula for winning the SB, but you want a team that competes consistently for the prize for a decade or more, those 3 ingredients are essential, unless you have Aaron Rodgers, who has elevated his game above any that we've ever seen.

Bottom line, though, is that it all starts at QB, now more than ever.

So most on the planet say that statistically you have to draft a 1st round QB to win the Super Bowl. So its comical to me that some of those same people are campaigning for RG3 when statistically african american QB's do not win Super Bowls.
