Well I read some article how the 3-4 is pretty rare, but the 2 gap 3-4 that romeo installed is a sub minority of the minority (the rare of the rare)

So I was just curious...I'm not familiar with what the saints ran

This is seriously really, really good news.

If Romeo is not getting the axe, that seems like a pretty good sign to me that there's a house cleaning planned. Am I getting delusional? I feel like if Pioli had any confidence in his future, he'd fire Romeo and start building momentum for 2013. This is the act of a desperate man.

People exaggerate how bad this defense would be under the right coaching.

The #1 problem on defense by a mile is coaching, not coordinating defenses. This is a competitive defense. It has potential to be a terrific defense under a good head coach and a 1-gap 3-4 principle. Which is one of the reasons I still love the idea of Horton or Gus Bradley. Both would install a 1-gap 3-4 that I believe we would very quickly transition into.
