It's a lovely day. Let's get a ****ing burger.

Let's get on our bike and go in search of a burger.

Here we are on the plaza. Surely there is some burg around here.

Look at the lovely fountain, bitches.

Let's ride up here and see if we can find fattening things.

Damn, look at the ass on that indian.

HOLY SHIT THE INDIAN IS STANDING RIGHT OUTSIDE A BURGER JOINT

Let's live dangerously and park the bike outside where any minority could steal it in broad daylight.

Hey look, it's the 1950s.

Let's put on some swell tunes.

Should we get breakfast?

**** THAT LET'S GET A STEAKBURGER

While we wait for our order, admire the menu art.

All the hot chicks love fixies...

See how close you are to fixie heaven? 40 year old dorks ride bikes with suspensions. You are a young man looking for a place to park your soon to be bad ass fixie, order up a tall boy PBR and prepare for the hipster chick onslaught. So close...

How's your ability to grow a quasi-handle bar mustache or a beard?
I seriously want a Purefix. One of my wife's shopgirls has this bike, and the picture really doesn't do it justice:

I'd probably go with the India, though:

My town is hilly as hell, though. I'm not sure how practical a fixie is.

It will be cool in 10-15 years to spot all the ex-hipster douches as they will all be walking with a cane at 30-40years old from shredding their knees on their ultra-cool fixies.

What a bunch of douches, although I will admit the bikes look kinda cool.

I pick up my neighborhood beaters for around 50 bucks on craigs, my current cruiser is an early nineties Nishiki Mtn bike complete with teal and purple accents...yeah baby.

There is something to be said for how a fixed gear will force you to develop a smoother pedaling style since you simply cannot stop. Due to this, they are somewhat popular for 'off season' training by serious road cyclists. Back in the day I only rode fixes from Thanksgiving to Feb 1.

So you're saying you were into it before it was mainstream? Hipster alert!!!

JK, but no doubt the "braking" motion is extremely hard on the knee ligaments. Plus you were probably flat landing it for training, these young dumbasses are riding these around hilly terrain like Denver/SF everyday.

I don't think I am a hipster? We are talking late 80's Early 90's. And yes we were flat landing it, on County Rds. here in Iowa. It would help your spin and technique. In addition there was no need for speed during the off season. Plus in early spring we would do some Velodrome Racing in Chicago.

JK means just kidding...

You might be too old to get the hipster jokes, also we basically said the same thing regarding why they will have shredded knees and you and other serious cyclists won't.
