I always pictured Niles Crane when I see a baby post talking awkwardly to his father about the mariners.

Alex was so pathetic that I turned the game off and went hunting. I had no intention of hunting today because it was game day. I'd rather stare at trees in hopes of the 30 pointer, than watch that ass clown mismanage every opportunity this offense gives him..

But if Mahomes comes in and succeeds it diminishes the/any value that Smith has or will have.
sarcasm but I am afraid that is in the FO thinking at least a small part.

IF this team practiced playing football as much as they do their end zone celebrations we might be 9-2

How can Mahomes do worse? If he can't then there is no reason not to play him. I understand raw but good grief, if he was that raw or needed that much time then they should never have traded up to get him. Smith had already ruined everything so why not play Mahomes.

Sadly, as others have said, the flag is so firmly planted in Alex's court. The fans outside of cp. The media outside of Mellinger. I could see mahomes hitting some lumps as any rookie would and the Alex homers saying: see, it's the supporting cast that sucks. Even if he plays better than Alex which wont be hard to do.

At this point, I just don't care anymore about this season. If we have to cringe our way through this season so that we firmly commit to mahomes next year, so be it. I'm convinced what the Chiefs are doing now solidifies that Alex is gone no matter what next year and that gives me comfort through the cringe.

Chiefs have become painful. If I literally had anything else to do I wouldn't have watched today. I'm 10x more excited about the college championship games next week - and I don't even have a rooting interest.

How about how Any Reid refuses to bring in good WRs?
Just read this gem on Facebook.
lol

This guy literally is blaming Andy Reid for not having any "good WRs" on this team right now.
