rotoworld also says after that Hillis will "mirror" the Thomas Jones role, and that he's getting first team reps at HB, and he's splitting time with Charles as the "featured back"

lol

that does not sound like a full time FB to me.

i dont necessarily think it will be Shane Bannon, but yeah I think some bozo will be out there as a blocker from time to time.

I'm thinking with a double TE set, assuming there is a single back, one of the TE's will go into motion to the opposite side and be the lead blocker, or go in motion and drop back into the FB position area as well.

Hillis would be misused as a blocking FB. That is not his game at all. He is really a RB in a FB's body and he has surprisingly good hands.

He said because his contract is up soon. I dont know if we resign him or trade him. He said he's gonna be the starter. I dont think he was all that wrong in that regard. Maybe Dorsey wants out and doesnt wanna play in a 3-4 anymore.

I dont think you wanna do that on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1. I think you want a true fullback doing that job, because fullbacks usually arent that tall, YOu dont want a 6-4 tight end trying to get low to create some room, you want a 5'10-6' 225-230 lbs guy doing that.

Bannon's H-back role @ BYU had him lining up at FB and TE. I can see them going jumbo ace with boss/moe/bannon more than I form. Lots of zone run plays from that opens good cutback lanes and all 3 of those TE's are passing receiving threats.
