Figured that if we had one thread to discuss Cardinals "stuff" it would be easier to find. What do you think? Good idea?

I was wrong on this one. I will admit it though. Neither team was able to gain any ground on the Cubs and that is bad. Chicago was able to pick up another game on each team. I will have to hold on to the small victory in winning the season series with the Cardinals. As a Brewer Fan I have way too many of those colected over the years. Normally as a Packer Fan I can take consolation in football season, but maybe not this year. Well good luck until next year when our teams meat again. Help us and yourselves out by beating the Cubs. You guys still have six games with them.

Pretty good game tonight. I was getting rather worried that the Cards bats were going to be silent until they finally woke up later in the game.

However this all plays out, this should be a damn interesting month of ball coming up. As much as I hate to admit it, I would be kind of surprised if the Cubs don't win the Central but I will sure as hell be pulling for the Brewers if the Cards miss out on the wild card.

yep no playoffs since 1982, got a rental player for their best prospect. If not us then I'd like for it to be them instead of the Cubs.

Cubbies choking in the past. Somehow I think it's there year, gut feeling. Should be a great Sept for baseball in NL Central.....

Either team is ok with me.

If you look at their schedule, their September is brutal. All games are either on the road or against teams with winning records, or both. Will be interesting to see if they can weather the storm, or time travel back to 1969.

I hate the Cubs. I just wanted to share that with you. Now that the season series is over between the Brew Crew and the Cardinals I might stop by from time to time to share that bit of news.

my Cub fan friends... remember the great collapse to the Mets....in 1969....

so is it another CHOKE or not. tough Sept for them, if they get thru it they deserve it.
