Is anyone seriously scared of the Raiders?

Yes, they got some nice shiny toys for the offense.

But Norv Turner is still their head coach and Chiefs fans know how well keeping the same players and changing the scheme works for fixing a defense.

That's all there is to it? 3 wins better after 89 games and so "clearly better?" That's good to know! It doesn't matter if your team wins the division title for the next 10 years, or has more playoff wins or Super Bowl wins than than mine. All my team has to do is get three head-to-head wins ahead of your team and they will be "clearly better." Simple.

CBS Sportsline thinks you should fear the Raiders:

Tom Schmidt: Who would be your selection between these three quarterbacks: Marc Bulger, Kerry Collins or Michael Vick?

G.G.: Collins has a chance to be one of the top five quarterbacks in Fantasy Football this season and is the best option. The veteran has a list of weapons that include LaMont Jordan, Randy Moss, Jerry Porter and Ronald Curry at his disposal, and the Raiders will throw the ball downfield a ton.

Furthermore, the defenseless AFC West will offer little resistance to what has a chance to rival the Colts as the best offense in the league. His value falls a bit in leagues that penalize points for interceptions, but overall it's hard to pass on Collins.

All I can say is we better beat the Raider if we are going to go anywhere at all. I will be on the field for the game here in Oakland.

Yeah. You got it.

Fear? Hell no.

The way you attack the Raider's offense is to rush the hell out of Collins. Mr. Happy Feet will start spraying the ball all over the field as he has every other year of his career. If we sit back and play conservatively, we will get carved up.

Our offense should dominate their defense.

I only fear the The Raiders may get some on our stadium and I'm not sure if we can clean it off.

How did eye patch get so many good rep points in 176 posts? Do we have some closet raider fans lurking around here? I think this needs a full investigation followed by strict banishment and firing squad for anyone giving good rep to raiders. Whats next Chiefs and Bronco fans holding hands and taking long walks together. Osama marrying one of the Bush twins and being George's son in law. Someone restore order in this world.

Tyler couldn’t cover the ground he was responsible for with a 3/4 alignment… how in the hell is he gonna do well in a 4/3 since he will have more ground to cover.

He is a DE that is “trying” to being converted to a OLB. If I were the chokes I would dump halfback tosses his way and watch him grab some air. He’s a great kid with a big heart and a great motor but IMO he is lost out there.

and if you think that Warrnen Sapp will not be helped by moving back to a position that he has played for years and as a pro bowl player... and also having big Ted Washington playing the middle who always sucks up two o-lineman… then I understand why many knowledgeable football fans usually ignore your tripe.

Whoa...Brayton's not being moved back to end? The Raiders are even more stupid than I had initially believed...

Sapp might be helped, but not enough to make him a force. He sucks.

Collins is still the same QB he has ever been.

The Chiefs team is pretty different. They added key parts. They will improve.

Did Collins get a brain transplant? If so, he will improve.
