Moss hurts left knee in one-on-one drills

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos first-round draft pick Jarvis Moss injured his left knee during 1-on-1 pass-rush drills Monday and was taken off the field for medical tests.

There was no immediate word on the extent of his injury.

Moss, who signed a five-year, $18 million deal on July 28, was injured when he did a spin move past an offensive lineman, then began hopping on one leg before crumpling to the grass. He stayed down for five minutes before getting up and walking gingerly to the sideline. He got into a cart and was taken to the locker room.

The defensive end from Florida was the 17th overall selection in the NFL draft. He was expected to provide the Broncos' pass rush with some much-needed help.

I will not defend GoChiefs' reeruned post. I would have neg repped him but I neg repped him not too long ago so I was precluded. It was ****ing stupid and out of line with sportsmanship.

I do notice that Broncos fans, both visiting here and at the Mane tend to be thinner skinned than the Chiefs fans that populate ChiefsPlanet. I've called all sorts of members here the worst things I could literally think of and I barely get a response anymore. Listo, on the other hand, was about ready to burn my garage down from the ribbing I gave him the other day.
