Dwayne Bowe/Matt Cassel

**** you both you idiots.
You lost us the game today.

This team would be better if Cassel had a season ending injury

He missed enough passes over the last two years that he only threw for 156 yards today.

Can you be more specific on "exceedingly bad play"? No sacks were allowed against one of the best pass rushers in the game. On most of the big running plays we ran left. I'm struggling to see any validity here.

I guess maybe Albert could have farted on that last drive causing Cassell to gag and subsequently drop the ball while fading back and no pressure on him.

I understand the criticisms of bad play by other players on this team, but I will NEVER understand how anyone can defend the absolute incoherent play of your QB Massah Matty Cassel...He is HORRIBLE!!!!

And it's not like there is a Peyton Manning out there waiting for the Chiefs to draft him.

If your "take" is "let's draft a QB in the first and he'll be Peyton Manning and we'll then win the Super Bowl" (which it kinda looks like that is what it is), then you are the ****ing reerun.

You really want to add to being this dumb by also trying to put words into my mouth?
For years AMC Movies had a "Football Clinic for Women" where Tony Gonzalez would show up, teach a little about football, make some jokes, give out a little handbook. It was a cute thing to send a girlfriend to, but the info, even for part-time football fans, was a little watered down.
I think you'd flunk out of it.

I just can't believe it. One of the top two or three DEs in the game is invisible for the vast majority of this game, and somehow the LT is "consistently bad" and part of the reason we lost.

You really don't understand football, do you? You're like the football-posting version of T0m Cash!

I'm starting to waver in my support of Bowe. The guy has such potential and such great physical tools that it seems like he should be a top receiver, but it all goes to waste when he can't catch a ball that hits him in both hands. Very disappointing.

It cost us at least 6 points right off the bat. An easy three for their offense after the onside kick, then going for it with "Damon Huard lite" on 4th and 2 instead of kicking the tying field goal.

Bowe's consecutive drops on that series was a momentum changer. After the turnover we make a great call going deep it is place right where you want it, and your number 1 whiffs. 13-9 and the apple in the throat of their offense enlarges and maybe they press even more. At the very least, we still have a shot at the end down by 6 which totally changes how you attempt to move the ball, you can run it, you can still use the middle of the field...needing two scores with under 3 minutes you pretty much are screwed in half your playbook.

Well said. Still KC's improvement over last year is fantastic and the players and coaches deserve credit. They could have won his game. Crennel's D game plan was excellent and the guys played the asses off.

Albert played about as well as he could have. A couple of times he failed, most noticeably was the delayed draw to Charles that Albert got off to a slow start on the snap.

Taking chances on the road with coaching decisions is always tough. In this case, ( The on side kick ) if you gamble and win them it puts Indy at a disadvantage. The defense held, 3 pts was as good as you could have expected there. Going for it on 4th down, a gamble 3 points would have been nice, 7 would have been better, 0 was horrible. That's the chances you take with rolling the dice.

The failed TD catch by Bowe .... lost 4 pts. So at best, we gain the 7 pts from that, we still lose this game unless we could have tied it at the end.

A lot riding on a bunch of .... " IF'S ".

Look, we still have a 2 game lead in the AFC West. That is hugh. Nobody on this BB or the NFL would have thought that after the 1st Qtr of our season.

This team has turned the corner, we just need more from our OB & WR's now.

Captain Facepalm and D-Blow.

Cassel must have the hypnotic powers of Rasputin to keep the starting job... and Bowe couldn't catch a case if he were in a club with LJ spitting on bitches.

Romeo and the D go hard though. They made a statement today.

Cassel and Bowe made statements too.. "I suck." and "Bench me."
