You need an abacus to count the # of times he was beaten to the outside on the clips you posted. He's not physical and he's not nearly as athletic as people claim.

Oregon made a lot of defenders look silly last year, so I don't know how much you can take from that game. Their outside speed is amazing and they use it well with a lot of misdirection.

Rodney hudson looked fluid to me at the combine. Haven't watched him a lot or anything though.

Hudson has generally been regarded as the best pure guard in college for the past three years.

The problem is that he's never had the mass that people/draftniks think will translate effectively to the pros. His footwork is amazing, and he's got a lot of point of attack strength. He'd excel in a zone blocking system, but because he played at 285/290 lbs. people think he'll get washed out at the next level.

I like hudson in the second round. I would be concerned with how he would hold up with the three techs though.

I think that one of the reason for so many teams returning to the 3-4 is the success of teams with zone blocking schemes and lighter, quicker offensive linemen. The 3-4 is a good way to fight it.
I'd be wary in our division of nabbing any sub 300 lb offensive linemen.
