Berry's injury could be serious

Chiefs safety Eric Berry left Sunday's game in the first half with a knee injury, and he didn't return in Kansas City's 41-7 loss to Buffalo.

Chiefs coach Todd Haley said afterward that he didn't yet know the extent of Berry's injury.

But there was concern inside the locker room that the injury could be serious. Berry was tended to earlier in the contest before returning; a few minutes later, the second-year safety was helped off the field.

How do we already have updates on Kaeding and Castillo, but not Berry?

Has it been confirmed his knee is the problem? I was thinking it looked like a groin from what I saw at the game.

The first time he came off he was holding his groin (I thought) and walking around the way you would with that sort of an injury.

He tried to play through it and fell, again limping the way I've seen people limp with a groin problem.

While on the sideline it looked like they were working his knee, but I think that's just the same sort of motion you use to work the groin.

So I could be completely wrong, but my call is a groin. How bad is anybody's guess.

He had ice on the outside of his knee. hopefully it is just a bruise or something from the helmet to the knee.

He walked around the sideline in the first half, sit on the table, talked to Lewis and other dbacks. He didn't come back out in the second half I don't think. I dunno by then I didn't really care about hte game much.

Go Chiefs...Can you make a gif of Berry the second time he went down? His knee just collapsed. Did NOT look good at all. Looked very weak after taking the cut block.

They aren't icing an ACL tear, nor is the guy standing on the sidelines with it.

It's probably a sprain.
